※ P-body introduction P- (mRNA-processing) bodies are cytoplasmic granules that form in eukaryotic cells in response to numerous stresses to serve as sites of degradation and storage of mRNAs (1), which form through multiple protein-protein interactions analogous to a liquid-liquid phase separation (2).
